Interviewed for position after masters program and found out they would not calculate into salary. I like the hiring manager and decide to start out but did not plan on staying for too long since they were low balling on the salary. There were no perks offered. It was an easy interview but for the way they treated people that is an indication of how you will feel the rest of your time working there. They do not care for their employees.

Question 1
Are you willing to start at the lowest salary possible coming from a graduate degree?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Houston ISD in June 2022
Interview
Interview process was similar to any other. The biggest complaint I would have is the amount of time it took to actually get hired. The school I interviewed with said I was hired and to be patient. I interviewed in June but didn't officially get the welcome letter until August.

Question 1
They basically wanted to make sure my skills aligned with working at a title 1 school that involved a large range of types of kids.
It was really easy. They just want to know if you have any experience. They also give scenarios and ask how you would handle it. I only did one interview so the process wasn't long.
