I applied online. I interviewed at Servpro Industries in Apr 2026
Interview
The recruiter cancelled our first call last minute and rescheduled for a week later. Once we talked, she said the hiring manager would be on PTO for a few weeks so I would have to meet with other team members in the meantime who wouldn’t be making the final decision. The first call went great. The second person didn’t show up for our interview and it was rescheduled for a week later. The recruiter then told me they were moving forward with someone who was further along in the process and had already met with the hiring manager before they were on PTO. Wasted time.

Interview
The interview was with the franchise owners. Each had their own set of questions based on how the position relates to what aspect each owner handles. They also give you the chance to ask any questions.
Four rounds of interviews over three weeks for a role that was actually a backfill, not a new position as originally presented. The urgency to fill the seat was apparent throughout the process, yet they still passed after putting candidates through an excessive number of rounds. Each interview was with a different internal stakeholder who was not the final decision maker, which could have easily been consolidated into a panel or meet the team format instead of separate rounds. When asked about company culture and the recent CEO transition, the response was essentially that it did not affect them personally, which came across as dismissive and not reassuring for someone evaluating whether to join. There were also active internal platform issues the team openly discussed during interviews, raising questions about how ready they actually were to bring someone on. On top of that, the expectation is to travel to Tennessee for onboarding and to receive equipment, which was not made clear upfront. Recruiter communication was inconsistent throughout. If you value your time, just know the process does not match the effort they expect from candidates.
