Interview
I was hired through a legal staffing agency as a temporary employee before being hired as an official employee of the firm.
After passing the staffing agency interview, I went through two interviews with the firm.
The first interview I met the office manager and the owner of the firm. The interview was very straightforward. No behavioral questions. The firm laid out their needs and I told them how my skill sets could help achieve their goals. We then discussed possible start dates.
The second interview was with the attorneys. The attorneys asked questions about my background and my ability to support them with specific tasks.
Acting as an intermediary, the staffing agency negotiated a contract with the law firm. The staffing agency asked me about my desired salary, insurance benefits such as health, dental, and vision., PTO, and paid sick time.
I started working about a month after my first interview.
