I applied online. The process took about 3 to 4 weeks. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Johanessburg, SA).
2 interviews, one time with the group including the HR and then for the second round the manager joined. the first interview was general questions and the second interview was questions based on my master's coursework and projects
They were very friendly and overall the interview was not difficult.

Very friendly, started with hr, asking me the classic questions , then the technical discussing my projects then general machine learning questions like overfitting, deep learning, and optimizing , Overall good expereience,

Interview
Interview started with introduction followed by technical questions from my resume experiences and projects. Then some general Machine Learning, Deep Learning and computer vision questions. For example overfitting and under fitting, embedding spaces, unsupervised learning etc.
To be honest was quite nice. Interviewer was genuinely interested in my background and experience. No coding questions but rather open ended project questions and how one could extend existing projects.
