I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hub Group (Oak Brook, IL) in Sept 2014
Interview
I applied online. Within a couple days I did a phone interview. The next week I went in for an in person interview. Then the week after I went for my second in person interview.
I was never notified if I got the position or not. I called the secretary to get the emails/phone numbers of my interviewers about 2 weeks later so I could reconnect with them, but she told me she couldn't give me their information. It's fine that I didn't get the job, but at least notify me. This happened over a year ago and it still gets on my nerves to this day.

Interview
Well first of all, the interviewers didn't have their zoom cameras on, so I thought that was unprofessional and uninviting. Basically, they asked me different situations and how I reacted to them (How did you react to a stressful time? Tell me a time when you negotiated with a person. Tell me a time when you had an upset customer and how did you resolve the issue?) They did ask me a few questions about the job itself. Overall, I felt uncomfortable throughout the process as if I never said the right thing and the demeanor of the interviewers were unfriendly. (No I am not salty I didn't get the job, I would have never accepted it after reading all of the terrible reviews about working here before the interview. Maybe it contributed to how I felt during the interview, but I did have an interview with the capacity planning team, and they were friendlier, but they also didn't have their zoom cameras on.)

Question 1
Tell me a time when you had a conflict with a co-worker/manager and how you resolved it.
Typical interview process with a human resource doing a phone screening along with multiple rounds of interviews. Entire process took around 2-3 weeks to complete. 1-2 weeks to onboard and complete the process. Fairly quick overall

Question 1
Knowing the difference between types of transportation within the supply chain network
First round with HR, second with the department head and managers. They asked standard hiring interview questions and seemed to have valued interest in the company and the transportation industry from an interviewee.
