I knew someone who introduced me to the Associate Dean in charge of hiring Continuing Education professors so that was my "in." They want some prior experience with teaching adults. Show that you are mindful of ESL students and students from other countries/cultures.

Interview
Candidates are required to answer various instructing questions. The candidate is required to respond to situational questions related to how to deal with a student or faculty member that is acting inappropriately in the classroom or work setting. The interview is follow-up by a mock lesson. The lesson will cover preparation, goals of the class and delivery of material. Your qualifications are also discussed.
