Interview
You call and apply online or call HR you are requested to come in and take an outdated NYC EMT test from the late 90's to early 2000's era. If you pass you're hired if you fail you're allowed to go home and study and come back another time to take it again.

For the interview you have to take an emt test, lift the stretcher, and they ask you basic questions. It was overall a pretty easy experience. They were all nice.

Interview
Included a drug test and a test of NYC protocols. Other then that, the interview was pretty much comprised of standard questions. I was asked about my previous experiences with the volunteer organization that I has worked with previously.
