I applied online. I interviewed at Hunter EMS in Oct 2018
Interview
Very quick and easy, the woman is my current supervisor. Communication was great. Was a one on one interview and didnt last more than 20 minutes. Gave me a run down of the hiring process : drug test, a few days of training, and a few days on the road with an FTO before you can work with a partner.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me why I wanted to be an EMT, what I would like to do in the future and how I can be an asset to my patients. Did not last more than twenty minutes and met some of the hire ups after the interview
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hunter EMS (Bay Shore, NY) in Oct 2012
Interview
The interview was a piece of cake- did not really even have one. I walked in and asked for an application. I took it home and filled it out. When I went back the next day, I handed it in and took a 100 question quiz. I talked to the hiring person a little and was given my shift- I didn't even realize it was an interview! Piece of cake!
