I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Huntington Bank (Grand Rapids, MI) in July 2016
Interview
Interviewed at 2 Grand Rapids locations for one position. After the second interview I was told that I should hear back about the hiring decision within a few days. After a week went by I sent an email to the Huntington Bank recruiter requesting an update. No reply. After a few days I sent another email to the recruiter and also copied the store managers that I interviewed with. Still No Reply, even after a few more emails requesting an answer, which I wanted and expected. I decided to move on with my job search. 2 weeks later a sales rep from Huntington called me about my bank account and how they could be of help in other areas, I happen to bank at Huntington, at least for now. I explained to him about my interviewing for a position and the total lack of professionalism in someone not getting back with me. He apologized and would check into it. Someone called me that evening and explained that they went with someone else. I see today, 8/3/2016 the same job posted for the same locations.I'm glad that I wasn't hired, since this is obviously not a professional company to work for. I'll be looking for a different bank to do business with.

Interview
I applied online and heard from a recruiter a couple of days later. I set up an interview for the following week. I was interviewed by the branch manager and co-manager. They asked questions about my personal experience in sales, etc. Two weeks later, I was asked back for my second interview. However, I had a family emergency so I had to reschedule. They were very understanding. I returned to town over two weeks later. Reschedule my second interview and was offered a job a couple of hours after my interview. The next process is the background check and drug and tobacco screening.
