I filled out an application at careers.onbase.com. This application is unique as it requires you to write poetry, I assume as a test of your creativity. I hear people who skip the poem are not considered.
Within a few days I was called in to visit Westlake office on a Thursday evening. I was in a pool of about 6 other candidates for the role of Software Installer. I went through 4 separate interviews. First, a department manager spoke with me. Next, I was adminstered a technical test with a variety of questions related to Computer Engineering and Networks. After that, a pair of department team leaders asked me a variety of questions (good cop/bad cop style). Finally, a HR representative interviewed me with a series of HR questions.
At the end of the evening I was told they were not actually hiring for the role, but would be in the near future (no difinitive time line given). This was in December. Two weeks later HR would give me a call, but it was only to check if I was still interested. They would repeat this every other week until March when a job offer was made and I accepted.
