I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hyphens (Singapore) in Sept 2022
Interview
Interview process was clear and was briefed on the timeline as there are at least 3 stages of interviews. HR, Director, Hiring Manager and Head of People & Culture. Was brought around to visit the company’s facilities and products which they carry. Overall, this company seems promising and HR gives clear instructions too.
Overall felt very stressful during the interview. They do not offer a work-life balance and made it very clear that it is a very independent job and you cannot fail.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hyphens (Quezon City, National Capital Region) in July 2011
Interview
There was no rigid or process-driven selection hiring mechanism. As I would recall, I submitted my resume online. A few days later, I was advised to make myself available for an inteview. The outcome was not encouraging - the hiring manager focused more on my age and did not seem to appreciate the diversity of my work background - almost 3 decades in the industry for 6 varied employers also. I believe he rethought his decision by calling me again for another interview. This time, we focused more on my competencies and potential contributions to the company. Two weeks later, I was hired. The drawback was that there were promises made without documentation - 'work in progress' as one would rationalize.
