Interview
The initial phone call with HR was not an interview but a straightforward scheduling call, and I was eager to move forward. However, I was not informed that the next round would be a technical panel interview with three people, including the head of the department, which came as a surprise.
The main challenge was the technical focus of the interview. Despite my CV clearly matching the job description, which emphasized GHG accounting, I was asked a series of highly technical questions (10) that felt disconnected from both my background and the role’s responsibilities. It seemed as if the interviewer had not reviewed my CV or the job description and instead asked questions based on their 15 years of industry experience.
This made it difficult to demonstrate my relevant experience and left me feeling quite nervous and undervalued.

Second round in person at their Europe HQ in Eschborn, near Frankfurt. Again with HR and hiring manager, higher manager may join
