The interview process was disorganized and left a poor impression. An interview invitation was not received before the scheduled meeting, and the issue was only discovered after the interview had already started. This created unnecessary confusion and stress, as I was left wondering whether the interview had been cancelled, forgotten, or affected by a technical issue.
What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. The situation was never properly acknowledged, and there was no meaningful follow-up regarding the scheduling issue despite the inconvenience it caused.
After completing two rounds of interviews, the process concluded with an automated rejection email. For candidates who have invested significant time preparing for and attending multiple interviews, this felt impersonal and dismissive.
Overall, the experience gave the impression that the hiring process was treated as a transaction rather than a professional interaction between people.
3 stages of interviews are conducted. Telephone screening is first. This is followed by hiring manager. Last interview is conducted by the hiring manager's boss. Lastly you may meet with HR to discuss expectations.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IATA (Amsterdam) in July 2023
Interview
The interview was unusual, I had amount of cases to discuss with the hiring manager, but nothing about my background or achievements. After the interview I was told that they will get back to me next week with the feedback, but I haven’t heard anything anymore.
