3 IATSE members got on a Zoom call. One was the Camera Trainee coordinator, and the other two are 1st ACs. They asked a series of questions, most of which gauge your expectations and goals for joining the union, and going through the trainee program.

What was the most stressful production you’ve been a part of, and why?
You’re running late, what do you do?
What are your long term goals in film?
How will you sustain yourself on minimum wage (note: in 2022 the payment for Trainees is 10% above minimum wage)?
How will you use your time between rotations?
