I sat down and talked with the hiring manager that lasted about 5-10 minutes, I filled a single document application and was put on the schedule immediately. The questions were very generic whether I had transportation, am I looking for part-time or full time.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IHOP (Tucson, AZ) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process entailed of the Manager giving me a rundown of what to expect working there and ensuring if I was okay with all the listed duties, I wasn't asked many questions.
The interview process was straight forward. I went in, asked for an application, filled it out, spoke to the manager, and I got the job within a few days. One of the questions I asked was if they did direct deposit, and they don't, they give paper checks instead.
The process was swift, and they got back to me in a short amount of time. The store manager was kind and friendly. It is like the usual food service industry interview process.
