Great peer review format for 1 hour each interview and you get some introduction on how the company actually works. There are 4 stages, 3 interviews and 1 test .
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IMA Management & Technology (Sydney) in June 2017
Interview
There were 3 rounds of interview
1) With HR - more of a behavioral questions. Once HR is OK, they schedule for 4 hours test
2) 4 hours test - tests the ability to follow simple instructions. there is also reading comprehension and situational question
3) Peer Interview - again behavioral questions.
I cleared all the rounds, however HR mentioned (after repeated follow-ups) that unfortunately they were looking for a role of Project Manager and not Business Analyst. While I understand that market conditions change, but it couldn't be possible that just in 3-4 weeks they dont need a BA anymore.
I think HR should be careful in putting up adverts in Seek. Candidates spend hours of time travelling to interview locations - I spent almost a day in interview process costing me $$ as I work on contract, and find it ridiculous to not get an offer just because at 11th hour someone realized we need a PM and not a BA.

Question 1
Whats the difference between being a consultant and being a BA
I applied online. I interviewed at IMA Management & Technology in Mar 2016
Interview
4 Rounds of successful interview 1. HR interview 2. Logical reasoning and Language Test (4 hours) 3. Peer interview 4. Management interview 5. No of reference check.
I feel its not ethical to interview candidate for so many rounds of interview and tell them to wait for months - Reason that they would deploy you at client project and would revert after they have projects available for you.
