I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IOM (San Jose, San Jose) in Nov 2021
Interview
You will need to take a technical test depending on the position you are applying for. If you pass, you will proceed to an interview with competency-based questions. It's recommended to review the IOM Competency Framework and be prepared to answer one or two technical questions and at least one related to gender. Interview panels typically consist of 3-4 members.

Question 1
How do you handle competing competencies? What is your leadership style? How will you integrate gender based perspective in your day to day job?
Short notice, highly technical questions, no empathy or positive engagement with the candidate. Did not provide any information about the vacancy. It was almost like a test, there was 0 interest in making the candidate feel comfortable.

Almost nothing about myself, hopes or professional expectations.
Written test and then interview. It takes more than 2 months to become shortlisted. And then the test and interview takes long time as well. Most of the projects are humanitarian.

Interview
Cold as the panel asks prescribed questions, it's as if they are reading. They are also very neautral in expression. Don't let this discourage u. They seem briefed to be this way
