I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IPD Analytics (Hyderābād) in Dec 2021
Interview
Talked to some fun people who like to understand how you work.
I had 4 rounds of interview but your experience might vary depending on how you do.
The coding questions are related to the actual work. No leetcode.
1st coding interview was solving around programming concepts like writing some code and talking about things like javascript event loop, built in functions and how they work.
2nd coding interview would be solving a coding problem with follow up questions around the problem and related programming concepts.
3rd round was system design. This is a typical system design interview with discussion around decisions and the reasons behind those decisions.
4th was behavioural and culture fit.
What’s the difference between map, forEach and reduce? How do they differ from each other and how do they compare to the normal “for” loop? How would you decide when to use what?
No proper response after the interview worst experience ever had. I hope they improve the interview process. The opportunity is given for only one position which is the worst ever.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IPD Analytics (New Delhi) in June 2022
Interview
Their interview process is very confusing/ irritating. Very poor management. I have been interviewed for the post of patent searcher. Initially it was informed there will be two round. One technical and one director discussion. I have cleared the technical round and also received the call from director. He had salary discussion and informed that he is very happy to hire such talented people in their company. I was told to resign as they will send the offer letter within a week as they are working on something urgent. After 2-3 days another person contacted me saying that he is more interested in my profile. The interview was fine. After 2-3 days a got a message that I am not fit for their company role etc. I don’t understand like how someone is not fit after having salary discussion. Now I am jobless just because of them and even don’t have the courtesy to discuss this on the call. After sending the email to hr, the hr told that yes this was the miscommunication from their side and they are sorry. After wasting my 2 weeks and asking me to resign now they are sorry. Such a impractical company/management. Never had such a bad experience.
Again, we have reason to believe that this is written by the same individual posting false information/representing themselves as an employee, most recently in our review section. It is truly unfortunate that someone would go to such great measures to shed a negative light on our company-- specifically, our interview process in India. We have interviewed hundreds, if not thousands of individuals in India and pride ourselves on our thorough and fair process. The communication/posting here provides confidence in our decision to not hire this individual as they clearly do not embody the values of our team here at IPD Analytics.
