The interview Process is smooth, special thanks to the HR, Nidhi Joshi. The only issue is it takes very long time(approx 2 weeks) for completion of all the rounds and getting the offer letter.
1. HR Discussion: The HR, Nidhi called me up on finding my profile on LinkedIn. She tried understanding my current role and responsibility and further explained me about the requirement in detail. The best part is, she also explained about the technical aspects of each requirement, which I never expected from an HR. I really like the way, she approached me.
2. Telephonic Screening: It was around 30 mins long. Mainly focused on my current Project. Also, have questions about the full lifecycle of the application.
3. Personality Test: At Ishir, Noida office. Not sure, how much it matters, but they had a sort of psychometric test, which has situation based questions, and also an essay :P.
4. First Technical interview round: It happened with a panel of two senior team leads. Though I have been mainly hired as backend dev, in .Net, but they asked me questions from almost all the technologies used in my current project like .Net, AngularJS, AWS, TFS, IIS etc. It was around 1 hour long, and the most significant round.
5. Second Technical interview: It happened with India Delivery Head. He seems to be a very knowledgeable person, with good understanding of technologies. He made me comfortable and asked various out of the box question, non-tech as well. He also explained about the current projects going on at ISHIR.
6. HR interview: Happened with HR Head. She mainly discussed my past experience, salary etc. Asked about expected one, and try negotiating that.
7. CEO round: Little strange, but yes that happened. Obviously, it's not a hardcore technical round, but more over my thinking and mentality towards work, ethics, and culture.
After all that pain, finally Nidhi, the HR told me that I got selected for the position and immediately send the offer letter. Though, due to some unavoidable circumstances, I wasn't able to join the company. They, infact Nidhi, always be in touch to understand the problem I am facing and give moral support and tried her best to get me onboard. She is very polite and professional while interview and leads to very smooth hiring process.
Anyhow, Its unfortunate that I am not joining ISHIR right now, but I believe that ISHIR is a very good company to work with. Will surely try that up, if got a chance again.
