I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ISS Facility Services
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn. There seems to be a major disconnect between their recruiters and hiring managers. They reached out to me, set up a phone interview, and then never got back in touch with me. I had to email the recruiter for an update and all she could tell me was she had not heard back from the hiring manager. You should not contact people and waste their time with a phone screen if you are not even going to follow up and give them a yes or no.
Thanks for your review! You feedback on the hiring process is important to us. Its unfortunate your experience was not a positive one. We are working with our Recruiting team and field manager population to align more closely. In addition, are implanting hiring process maps and a new applicant tracking system to improve communication and create transparency.
Negative experience
Easy interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at ISS Facility Services (Peterborough, England) in June 2023
Interview
For starters I arrived early but was left waiting around for quite some time which never bodes well. Very little emphasis on the job specifics and two interviewers who expressed very little knowledge around the role itself and seemed hell bent on asking typically unimaginative questions around staff behaviours, scenarios and whether sacking someone would cause issue. Real red flag territory.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Some real red flags raised here with their questions which seemed particularly focussed on fellow colleague behaviours and whether I would have any problems in sacking someone
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ISS Facility Services (Hong Kong) in Oct 2021
Interview
The Company arranged interview for me after I sent out CV for 2 days only. Someone from HR called me then provided details for my further preparation. I felt this is a good start for me before interview.
