I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IST Management in Oct 2010
Interview
Process began with a cold call from recruiting to discuss general experience and interest in current opportunity. Following Sunday, company flew me to HQ in Atlanta and put me up for the night in a hotel with all expenses paid. The next day started with a visit to a local client and overview of scope of work, technology and people systems. Lunch with recruiter followed by one on one interviews with each of the executive management team. Team scorecards you prior to your one on one interview with the CEO. If the feedback is favorable and the CEO concurs, an offer is made the same day. Drug screen and background completed within one week and training begins. Very good use of time and effective for understanding the overall solution as well as familiarizing yourself with the Sr Mgmt team and their respective roles/responsibilities within the company.

Interview
Unique interview process, IST sends you a camera to interview from your home for interview with Director/VP of HR. They send a surprising list amenities to enjoy while interviewing, 12" cookie, Branded items, and the Skype camera (which we get to keep). After that interview, within a day if they want to visit with you, they fly you to the Atlanta HQ - First class accomodations, Flight, hotel and meals are included - Business class, 4 star Hotel, Limo to and back to AP. You are treated and rercruited not as a number to fill a spot but as potential partner in their business.
The interview starts with the tour of IST's two flagship accounts to see their proprietary systems at work. Then lunch with the VP of HR Joe Carroll. Then interviews with Director HR, Director of Marketing, Panel interview with VP Operations, VP Finance, and VP IT. Final interview with President of IST.

Interview
I was contacted over the phone with a brief introduction of the company. Since my experience matched their requirements and I expressed interest in knowing further about the organization I was quickly invited to a follow up, forgive redundancy, online-web interview, my first experience on the receiving end of such style in interviewing. Preparation was as if I was in their office, my background was solid color and area quite and well lit. Interviewer was extremely considerate and personable. I was drawn in almost instantly. It was basically a conversation. The organization is a southern based one - Atlanta, Ga., friendly attitude and pleasant to deal with in general.
Once a decision was rendered I was contacted again via phone and invited to visit their offices in Atlanta. I was flown in and set up in a very elegant location. It was a sign of how the company invests in its, potential hires, people and therefore effectively reflecting that upon their clients.
The onsite interview took place the following day of arriving and conducted during the course of an entire day. You will be going through the many phases of interviewing with several individuals from all departments and at time be in front of a panel of senior staff members.
This organization is definitively a home-grown environment. Being capable is a requirement, but having what it takes to be a proper fit into the culture is an integral part. Be prepared. Do your homework! Know your resume.
