I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Imaginary Cloud (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in May 2023
Interview
The Interview Process consisted in 3 stages, but you work through them fairly quickly. 1. First stage consists of a technical interview with someone currently in the same role you're applying to. It basically consists of a set of rapid-fire technical questions relevant to your field of expertise. It lasts approximately 30 minutes. If you're relatively familiar/comfortable with most techniques in the field, this phase shouldn't be too hard. You don't have to know all the answers to all the questions to do well in this phase. As long as overall you're aware of field techniques. 2. Second stage is an interview with the People Department. This phase takes about 1 hour, and it is a cultural fit interview. It will feel more like a casual talk where your goals and interests will be explored. You'll also be run through some specific scenarios and explain what you'd do in each situation. 3. The third and last stage is another technical interview with a more senior colleague. It will be a live-coding interview in which you'll be solving a problem along with the person interviewing you. Don't sweat it too much, they just want to understand how you think and collaborate with others. In each step of the recruitment process, always ask all the questions you want. Everyone is really friendly and approachable, and they will gladly answer all your fears and concerns. Overall, to me, it was one of the best hiring processes I've gone through. Everyone was really professional without being unnecessarily formal, and made me feel at ease during the whole process.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Imaginary Cloud in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process was composed of three stages: a first round of quick technical questions related to data science and computer science; a second round, this time a behavioral interview with someone from the People team; and finally a third stage with a longer technical interview and hands-on exercise.
The whole process was quick (it took approximately 4 weeks overall), the team was very helpful throughout, and at each stage I received clear instructions on what to expect.
