Initially, I was approached by a recruiter with several available roles. We moved forward with this role, because it was one of the most fitting for my background, skills and experience. I sent my CV. Promptly afterwards, I was asked to prepare a personal statement. In due time, to also fill an on-line form with several questions, some of them fairly technical (including implementing an well-known algorithm in a programming language of my choice). A Skype interview was arranged, that lasted for more than an hour and some time after that, a live interview was arranged, that lasted a few hours, with several members of the team in turn.
Everyone I came in contact with was very polite and extremely professional.
Overall, it was a pleasant and valuable experience.
