I was looking for a temp-to-hire position through Syndicus Staffing Services, and they sent me to Inalink to interview for this position. The company is very small and one of the employees that has been working there for a long time interviewed me. I asked questions about job advancement, company culture, and job benefits. He answered those questions vaguely and only focused on explaining what I would be doing at the company (which is making 200 calls per say trying to sell membership). I was offered the job, but was let go three weeks later because I wasn't meeting their demanding expectations of selling membership.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you comfortable sitting at the desk all day making 200 calls per day?
None of my questions were answered. For exampled I asked "How has the position changed since it first started?" The response I recieved was "What do you mean?" My next question was do you have on going training or continuing education? The answer was we do not have time for that. Also, I was interupted a lot and did not get a chance to finish my sentence without them putting words in my mouth.
