Interview
I submitted my resume via employee referral. I was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screen, and then interviewed one on one with a product manager who gave more information about product groups at Indeed.

I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed in Feb 2026
Interview
Heard back right away (within 2 days) asking to schedule a screener interview. Recruiter called, and honestly seemed very unenthusiastic from the beginning, like I was wasting her time. My skills and experience lined up very well with the job decription, including several optional nice to have skills, and she completely downplayed them, saying that wasn't really part of the main job, so didn't matter.

Question 1
Asked me to describe my background and experience, and then follow up questions. No real behavioral or probing questions. Was extremely cursory.
The interview process was well-structured and smooth, facilitating clear communication and engagement. Each stage flowed seamlessly, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of candidates' qualifications and fit. Overall, it was an effective and positive experience for all involved.
