0 - Cold call from technical sourcer 1 - Intro call with sourcer 2 - Timed hackerrank test 3 - Technical phone screen 4 - 8 hr onsite with 13 different people Up until the onsite it was par for the course as far as technical interviews go. The onsite is a unique format: Resume deep-dive, architecture, two whiteboarding algorithms/data-structures interviews, code review interview, and a 90 minute programming exercise on hackerrank. I appreciated Indeed's motivation to move beyond the 4-5hr algo/ds whiteboarding gauntlet but it does make for an exhausting day. I've done many onsites at many companies incl Google, Microsoft, and Facebook. My onsite at Indeed was one of my strongest interviews and I haven't heard back. Frankly I'm pretty perturbed at the recruiter as I put in 10 hours of interviews not counting time preparing.
