      Interview

Setting up a phone interview was easy. The interview lasted about 5 minutes because she wrapped it up as soon as I told her that I graduate next year. They were looking for someone to fill the position right away and the entire interview process was not going to take longer than 3-4 weeks.

      Interview

I heard back within a few days of applying & had a phone call with a Technical Recruiter, who was very amicable and friendly and professional. She asked high-level questions about my resume/past experienc, salary requirements, start date, and made sure I was prepped for all the next steps. Then, I took a Google Sheets test (I believe 45 minutes long, not too hard) that same week. Then, I had my (final) interview with the hiring manager. It was meant to be a 45 minute Google Hangout, but I think we went a bit overtime. He asked A LOT of questions that seemed less relevant to the role at hand. It very much felt like he was looking for a candidate who was logical, straightforward, STEM-oriented. He asked me a few situational questions where he kept saying I gave good answers. However, it definitely felt like the reason I didn't get the job (because another candidate had more data analytics background) was due to skills or information I easily could've learned on the job. I had experience working in the country the role applied to, which I doubt most others had. I heard back within a week (after I asked for a status) that I wasn't going to move forward, which shocked me a little. And I asked why, but they got back to me almost 1.5 months later telling me the reason.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed in Nov 2017

      Interview

First phone interview was the standard collection of short logic and behavioral questions, very simple. Did a number of video interviews after, but all of them were virtually exactly the same questions with different people. They interviewed me for a span of over a month and were enthusiastic and telling me about start salary and meeting the team but continued on with repetative interviews and not going into detail about compensation or start dates . then they suddenly ask me when the soonest I can start is and get annoyed when I tell them I have to give 2 weeks notice to my current job. I was not offered a job in the end. They seemed unorganized and I wish they hadn't waisted over a month of time and over 5 interviews before saying 'no thanks'

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time someone at your current job disagreed with your idea. How did you go about it?
