Due to COVID interview was over the phone with two supervisors who were very pleasant. They were professional, nice, asked typical interview questions about yourself and your
experience. Had no problems at all with the interview. Took about 30 mins.
HR was unprofessional...I did not hear back from anyone about the position until one month later. Which at that point I was surprised to get an offer. Since a month had passed I had begun to interview with other places. HR person I spoke with who apparently had a high position would not provide me with an offer letter/email, was hesitant to answer questions about benefits, she seemed surprised I even asked and asked me why (I informed her I needed to compare them to other offers) I asked about the background check progress. She pushed for me to immediately accept the offer without understanding I wanted info on background info as I wanted to be sure all ducks were in a row before giving my job a 2 week notice. Her responce was if you have no problems with your background check why does it matter? I did provide a counter offer and have her permission to text me if needed. She texted me back and I ended up working late, an hour later I get a second text just with a question mark symbol ? ... In my opinion very unprofessional. FCC/ILS good worker would like offer letters emails and a small amount of info in that email about benefits. I was not asking for an employee manual. I was so happy to get the call from FCC/ILS because it was the position I wanted but the bad exp. With HR led me to take a position that offered less money but had some better benefits. Wish I would have had someone in HR who was excited to talk to me about their company.
