IndiaNIC Infotech interview questions

The interview was 3 step process. First being the HR call and verification. Second being the technical interview and third being the client round. The technical interview was focused mainly on the projects which I worked, based on that followup questions. I was asked for java collection questions. And asked to write query for a problem.

They took two round of interview and interviewer gave positive feedback but as they don't have enough budget at the end they told you you have knowledge but not match with our requirements .If they knows that candidate is not fit for job then why took 2 rounds of interview.
