Interview
I participated through the campus recruitment drive.
Firstly there was a written round which had three sections : puzzles, maths(questions on bar graph and pie charts mostly), verbal reasoning
The test was fairly simple and the cutoffs were really high
This was followed by two rounds of guesstimates, a round of case study and HR interview.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Indus Insights (Kharagpur, West Bengal) in Dec 2021
Interview
I had 4 rounds of online interviews which lasted a total of 3 hours of total time including breaks between rounds. First round was on Guesstimates, second was a case study round and the third was a technical round. The final round was a HR round where I was promised a Bangalore based work but after 4 months they just placed me in the Head office in Gurgaon. The difficulty of the interviews was letting them know our thought process since that is what matters the most. Although I almost messed up the Case Study round. I was selected because of my detailed explanation of my thought process
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The Technical round consisted of me selecting 3 topics out of 5 which i was comfortable with. I chose Python, SQL and Cpp. I was asked basic select statements and one Join problem in SQL. In Python, I was just asked a cumsum method problem which was easy since I had a good CP background.
