I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Influential (Irvine, CA) in Aug 2022
Interview
I’m disappointed. It’s quite sad actually - with many lay offs and candidates dealing with immense uncertainty, one would think Influential would have some compassion and at least send a follow up email.
Was I rejected?
Was another candidate selected?
Did they decide to go with an internal candidate?
Did they decide to remove the position for now due to budget cuts or restructuring?
Was it just not a good fit?
I wouldn’t know because no one has followed up with me after 5 rounds of interviews AND a project/assessment - I have followed up with zero response or feedback with the status of the position. Influential has no regard or respect for candidates. A simple, “ we decided to go in a different direction” would have been fine but no follow up at all? Shameful
Their actions demonstrate the company’s poor character, lack of sensible leadership and disdain for candidates overall. There is no excuse - a follow up email should always be sent. I hope they learn from
this. Overall everyone seemed kind but the interview process and communication needs some fine tuning.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Influential (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
I had a call (about 30 mins) with someone in the company. Then, a 30 min zoom call with the company. They mentioned there would be about 4 rounds, but I got an offer after the second round. They retracted the offer after I accepted it, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. Overall, the people seemed okay. The company is very interesting and seems like there is opportunity.
