Efficient and quick. Great to expose company ethos. The process consisted in two interviews with local management. First interview led by a recruiter at HR (mostly to discuss the role, and department and company goals).
I had one initial recruiter interview. Lasted less than 5 minutes. Not sure why the interviewer was in such a rush. I just talked about my experience which was already on my resume. They must have already had a candidate. Waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infor (Miami, FL) in July 2024
Interview
Initial HR screening interview followed a script and checked boxes for qualifications. The HR representative mentioned they would send me an e-candidate book to help prepare for the next interviews, but I never received it, even after following up via email. Later, HR asked me to write a paragraph about my last work experience and describe my day-to-day tasks. After submitting my written experience, which I could have shared during the interview, I was selected for the next round with the team. This was a panel interview where multiple team members participated and asked questions. Overall, the experience was okay, but expectations were set that I would be contacted by the HR recruiter directly for follow-up and next steps. However, the day after the interview, I received a no-reply email stating I was not selected for the role. I felt disappointed because I expected a personal update, not an automated email. I reached out to the HR recruiter again but haven’t heard back. In hindsight, this might be a sign that it wasn’t the right place for my next professional adventure.
