I interviewed at Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (Washington, DC)
Interview
Interview went smoothly, we discussed different aspects of the job and how my previous experience fits in with the scope of the job. Very friendly and engaging throughout the interview.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (Washington, DC) in Mar 2024

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
first interview round: tell us about your experience working on topics included in job listing, what is an economic policy passed during the Biden administration you disagree with, what is an economic policy during the Trump administration you agree with (very interested in making sure the interviewees can leave their political biases outside of work)
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (Washington, DC) in May 2017
Interview
Multiple interview rounds first with hiring manager, then with COO, then with fellow analyst, then with president. Writing test included in between interview with president. The process felt very thorough, but the organization is small so every hire counts - even junior hires. I appreciated the time involved - it allows me to evaluate whether I would excel there and vice-versa.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Specific questions about background/experience as well as general interview questions. Questions specific to ITIF's philosophy on economic and innovation.
