      Sales Executive Interview

      14 Apr 2020
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ink (London, England) in Dec 2015

      Interview

I did the interview first with human resources, then with a sales manager and the same say with the department's director. They asked basic information, then they asked to do a demonstration of the pitch in my own languages and then in English to show how I would sell the magazine. The basic salary offered was quite low and the skills they were asking for were quite high. Clearly it is a company that is not interested in training people and that want to hire senior professionals giving in exchange a pretty poor salary. They also said they will update me with the outcome of the interview, They never informed me about any update. They are quite unprofessional under my point of view, after wasting almost 5 hours with that interview the minimum a person deserve is an email with the outcome of the interview.

      Interview

I originally spoke with Victoria who was incredibly lovely and helped me feel very confident and also asked fantastic questions to get me to open up. After this I had a further two interviews quickly after each other and after the last interview where I was put under pressure a little more, I ended up being offered a job! Ink very very accommodating to the fact that I was working at the time of the interviews and Victoria was always there to help when I had questions

      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ink (London, England) in Sept 2019

      Interview

I got a call when we spoke briefly and then they invited me for an interview immediately. They went through all my CV asking questions about what I did in my previous jobs and how was it connected to sales. They wanted to know if I understand this position is cold-calling job. They are officially informing you that should working over hours. You must work before work, after work and on weekends. If you have any social life, family or hobbies I would advise not to bother to apply for this company. They gave me task to research a lot of companies for them and they wanted me to complete this immediately which was suspicious. Only for desperate people.

      Sales Executive Interview

      28 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ink (London, England)

      Interview

Quick to set up interview after quick phone discussion, sat down asked questions, standard stuff. They seemed positive about me, already talking about a second interview etc., easy and relaxing to talk to. Under a week later got an email saying I'd interviewed well but didn't have enough sales experience, even though two different people who interviewed me told me they didn't look at expereience and preferred those without as they liked to 'mould' newbies - weird.
