I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Inova in July 2015
Interview
I registered to the BSN Open house that was advertised. Recruitment team later sent an invitation to sign up for a interview time slot before the day. I selected my slot and arrived 45 minutes before my interview to ensure I wouldn't run into any traffic issues or issues finding the location. They asked that you bring two resumes. When I arrived they gave me a folder to put my resumes in and asked me to fill out a small questionnaire on the front of the folder which asked for your experience if any and what are the top two areas you are interested in among a list of 6 areas (Medical, Surgical, Women's Health, Oncology are the ones I could remember). In the waiting area they provided water, coffee, tea, and light refreshments while you wait for an recruiter to call you. Once called they used the auditorium to interview candidates. Throughout the interview they fill you in with what areas have openings and offer to contact a manager to come and interview you if they are available.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Inova (Fairfax, VA) in Jan 2024
Interview
Met with the unit manager and then offered me a shadow day on the unit. Still waiting for the shadow day and offer (if I get anything). Very nice interviewers in general and were understanding and easygoing. Met online due to living out of state.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself
Why do you want to work on this unit?
Why INOVA?
The new grad recruiter emailed me a week or two after I submitted my application. We set up a meeting time to discuss availabilities. If you want a specialty, apply 6+ months out from start date, as July spots were already filled when I applied in early February. The recruiter was a bit pushy on which units to apply to. After this initial meeting, you have an interview with the unit manager. Some units have virtual interviews while others ask for you to come in person. The interview was straightforward, asked why I wanted to work on that unit, and questions about my experiences. I think most units try to arrange a shadow day before sending you an offer letter.
Went through a couple of phone interviews before moving on to the next step and later a video interview via zoom. Eventually went and did an interview with a panel.
