I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global in Sept 2012
Interview
When asked if I wanted water, they brought me a styrofoam cup of water. Very déclassé. Could not get my direct deposit to process through eTrade. Lots of paperwork and missing paperwork. Not very professional. Very in and out. The worst part was when the "recruiter" asked me what the employer was looking for in an attempt to use the information to hire someone else when I told her that I knew one of the interviewers and the job was likely mine. She seemed disappointed that I would get the job.

Question 1
"So, what are they looking for?" in an attempt to get information about the interviewers to find someone else the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Insight Global (Bellevue, WA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Very relaxed and enjoyable. The actual interview was s two-stage process, with an initial screening interview, and then a call-back with the client for a final screen and an offer to hire on contract. The agent (Josh Best) that sent me briefed me as to the client's needs and who would be interviewing me prior to the meetings, and kept me informed of the process at every point along the way.

Question 1
Mostly questions related to personal work history, followed by a "how did you handle this" series of event-specific situational questions that evaluated personality, etc.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Insight Global (Irvine, CA) in July 2014
Interview
First interview with the recruiter. Second interview with the client. Asked to bring portfolio of work. Brought primarily technical work as documentation being written was more technical. Client impressed with the quality of the work. Good rapport with hiring manager. At the end of the interview, hiring manager indicated that he was "90% sure" but want to check with his management.
