I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2022
Interview
First interview by phone screen, then meeting with account manager, then you have to do a presentation to them on why you should work there (weird). The phone screen has the recruiter super excited by you, but when you meet with the account manager that is when they really figure out if you are a good fit. If you would instead do recruiting than client managing this is not the job for you. Recruiters are bottom of the food chain from what I gathered and don't even get paid commission which is not good. Other firms offer commissions from day 1.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was conversation-based and they are really trying to figure out if you can work a lot. They will ask you how motivated you are by money.
I would say it has been Comfortable, professional, engaging. After phone screening it is 3 interviews total. Still going through the process but so far so good. I’ve enjoyed my experience thus far.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Calgary, AB) in July 2025
Interview
Conducted a screening call, followed by a virtual Teams interview, final rounds are with the local hiring team. However, I was given the impression that a follow up with the local hiring team would occur and the person I interviewed with would be on standby to reach out to for any further questions or support in the lead up to the local interview. After the first virtual interview however the talent specialist I was in touch with completely stopped responding to my emails and I did not hear anything from the local team. I was led to believe that I had made it to the next round of interviews and heard nothing beyond there which was super disappointing.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2025
Interview
It was very informative and the person giving the interview was very kind. They were very interested in getting to know you and getting to know how your experience/ soft skills would be beneficial to the job. Learned a lot about what the job entailed as well.
