I was emailed about a job. The recruiter called, and I answered, and we talked about my experience and the job. I had just had an initial interview and was told by both interviewers how technical my resume was. She was friendly, and I was excited. She wanted to interview with another Insight Global recruiter in 10 mins; I wanted to wait. But they were in a hurry, and I wanted to be helpful. It started great, and my experience was great, but they may have to pay me less to train. And then she wanted my references which I do not give out unless there is an offer. Because I have had recruiters get my excellent contacts and hound them about if they need help, and I never hear from them again. They were in a hurry, and I didn't hear anything. Two days later, I contacted them because I hadn't heard anything and they were in such a hurry. I wasn't techy enough. The funny thing I remember another recruiter from a different company calling me about this same job. This is not how a recruiter should treat their applicants.
