I was approached by the recruiter with the offer to meet for the position via email, set up a convenient time on my calendar to meet with her, she told me a bit about the position and set up an interview for me to meet with the hiring managers and Director of the department. The meeting was scheduled promptly. I was never intimidated and felt very open and confident when speaking with them about my experience and my desire for the role. I asked for information on next steps and they let me know I’d hear back in a week or two, standard. Cool. I got a job offer the next day and could not be happier with my experience with them so far.
