I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Instacart (New York, NY) in June 2014
Interview
The company is growing fast and was eager for shoppers. What shocked me, though, was the lack of training! It consisted of a 20-minute PowerPoint that really would prepare no one for the work. I did not take the shopper position, but it seemed you would be learning on the job. This is unfortunate, especially when compared to other similar companies who train you with a practice "run." The whole meeting was very rushed, too, because it was held in a shared space.
