I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Instacart (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process was slow about every week and a half there was a next step. Finally got to a panel interview met with seven people over a four hour window. Was told I would hear back the following week from them for next steps and have been ghosted. This is very unprofessional considering how many interviews took place. Not even an email saying they moved on with other candidates or anything like that. Their recruiting processes need to undergo some review and have some improvements for a better experience. Overall felt the interviews went really well. Disappointed in the overall experience.
Applied online. Process started with an HR review and then a hiring manager screen; still in the process now. Will update once completed. Process has been pretty straightforward so far.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Instacart
Interview
Hiring manager call, then execution interview
Last round was product presentation, leadership interview, and second interview with hiring manager.
Execution was standard execution interview, and hiring manager calls were mostly focused on ensuring I had right skillset and was a good fit for the role
