The process started well with a recruiter call followed by a technical assesment with a senior team member. I was moved to the virtual onsite interviews which contained speaking with 3 different people. 2 of these interviews were misleading in terms of the context and the expected outcome. They were meant to be system design interviews and instead they turned out to be problem solving and process driven approach. Overall these conversations went well. In the end , i highlighted my concerns in the recruiter touchpoint and was assured there would be a true system design interview if even part of the feedback was positive which I am confident it would have been. To my shock, I got a blanket rejection email 1 week later with no context and feedback. I sent 3 followup emails next 2 weeks for any possible feedback or insights but all my outreach has been ignored so far and it is definitely embarassing from a candidate treatment standpoint after coming this far in the process. I certainly hope the talent aquisition team does justice to provide a rich & transparent interview process since i did enjoy speaking with a team and saw a close fit with the role and even received a swag pack from instacart for reaching in final stages of process.
