The job listing was completely misleading. It mentioned a marketing position that needed graphic design and marketing experience.
***IT WAS COMPLETELY MISLEADING***
This is a direct sales company. They got a contract from AT&T and others to be their on-the-ground sales people. Door to door.
The zoom interview itself was misleading and for 15 minutes they never mentioned sales. Until I asked for about it.
It was vague and they were using sales tactics in an interview, like using telemarketing scripts (which was obvious) from the interviewer. It was not engaging, it wasn't a conversation, it was a script so they could rifle through as many people as possible.
It was confusing - they mentioned being a manager, but not yet... They said the finances would be great.. but, not yet. I'm sure it's commission based.
This is a sales position. It's not a marketing job at all. If you want to be a door to door sales person, this is your opportunity.
Worst interview I've ever had.
