Instil Software interview questions

I had an initial 30 minute screening call followed by an invite to a second, technical interview with a take home coderbyte test. First interview was positive, however I ran into a number of technical issueswhich resulted in being unable to complete the coderbyte assessment to a standard I would have liked. I attempted to explain this to them but they didn't seem to care and cancelled my second interview. Felt unfair for a company to place so much emphasis on a faulty leetcode exercise in their recruitment process.

Instil's interview process consists of two stages: a virtual interview over Google Meet and an in-person interview, both lasting 30 minutes with a panel of two. The first interview focused on my thought process regarding the online assessment, with some technical questions in a relaxed setting. The second interview was more technical, featuring questions on structured code, teamwork, and staying up to date with technology, some of which I had not encountered before. After a Q&A session and an office tour, I was told to expect a response by the end of the week, but it never came. After following up weeks later, I received an automated rejection email with no constructive feedback, which was disappointing.
