Institute of Science and Technology Austria interview questions

I only had one interview with the Core IT Infrastructure Team Lead and someone from ISTA's human resources department. The interview was in English and focused on my experience; there were no technical questions, I just talked. They told me it would take a week to give me an answer, which never came, so I had to ask about it, and they told me that the selection process had been delayed. More than three weeks passed and I still had not received a response until I asked again, and they told me that they would continue with other candidates (as of that date, the position was still posted on the ‘open positions’ page). I think it is disrespectful to waste people's time and a lack of communication and administrative flow when no response is received.

Had three interviews for a position, the process was very transparent and adequately organised. Each time the focus was on one previous research project. The questions were mostly related to the topic or general team fit inquiries, like "what part of the project was you responsible for"
