I applied online. I interviewed at Institutional Limited Partners Association in Jan 2026
Interview
Had two panel interviews and then a final individual interview. Questions asked across all interviews overlapped greatly, which gave the impression that feedback wasn't shared between panelists nor the person who conducted the final round of interviews. I found this unsettling because the team was very clear that they rely on overcommunication (which is just micromanagement) as part of their work practices, so what I was being told didn't add up. A lot of the questions in the interviews were focused on negative situations as well.
Received notice from their ATS that I wasn't moving forward on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, which told me everything that I needed to know about their company culture and how (un)healthy it was.

Question 1
What are the current key challenges in the areas addressed by this role?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Institutional Limited Partners Association (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2013
Interview
interviewed a while ago for a position and the Executive Director was incredibly rude during my second interview. The first interviewer was warm and friendly, where I met with the EA, so I had high hopes for this one. However, I arrived and the second interview was cold and the woman was not pleasant nor friendly nor welcoming. It was a huge difference between the two. I was very taken aback by some of her curt mannerisms, especially for a not for profit organization.

Question 1
I asked her something along the lines of what the most immediate deliverables would be in the first 3 months on the job. She leaned over the table, pursed her lips, squinted her eyes, and asked rudely "I want to know why you're asking me that question.." with incredible hostility.
