I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Integra LifeSciences (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2014
Interview
Called the Regional Manager and asked if they had any openings in region. HR followed up to request I fill out application online and submit resume. Initial HR phone interview led to phone interview with regional manager and then an in-person mtg with Regional Manager and VP of Sales

Question 1
Was asked to provide an example of overcoming a sales objection that happened during an initial prospective client meeting. And how would I engage an angry or frustrated customer?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Integra LifeSciences
Interview
Easy process but I withdrew after my initial conversation. This may just be specific to the manager and not the whole company, but I had a sour taste in my mouth from the hiring manager after the first interview. This was over a year ago and I am still put off at the condescending tone he had with me during the interview. I withdrew the next day and he still tried to mansplain to me why I could be making a mistake. Not good vibes whatsoever and a reflection of the team in my opinion.

Phone interview with the recruiter went well, although I felt she was rushing off the phone. I was advised to have my camera on for the initial call but she did not have hers turned on for our call so that was a red flag. She scheduled me for a Teams meeting with a sales manager immediately after the call but cancelled the day before the interview because “recruitment activities have been put on hold.” Not sure why companies are posting job listings without approving budgets.. Sounds like I dodged a bullet on this one.
