      Interview

      1. Online test 2. Onsite coding test (which due to COVID 19 lockdown happened online) 3. Technical Interview (2.30 hr single interview java, SQL, maths, algorithms, mix of all) 4. fitment round (45 mins technical interview plus project-related questions) 5. HR interview after complete process I got CTC breakup in email. after asking some questions and discussing various aspects of job etc I confirmed that I am happy with the offerred CTC breakup After 1 week got a response that No offer will be extended because senior management rejected my candidature. (When I asked why I didn't receive any response) During the HR discussions, the HR gave me good confidence that they are all set to hire and there is no issue due to COVID pandemic and business is doing good etc, but then abruptly cancelled the official offer was really weird at least they could have told me real reason of rejection.

      Senior Software Development Engineer Interview

      8 Sept 2019

      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Interactive Brokers (Mumbai) in Aug 2019

      Interview

The process is too slow and laid back. They start with some online test, then some personal information test to see what kind of person you are. After these two they call you for a two hours pen and paper test. I had to wait for the HR to come for 45 minutes. She gave me the sheet and straight away went for lunch. I completed it within an hour and had to look for the HR in breakout area. I cleared that and they again called me for f2f. The HR briefed me about the organization and I really liked it. She said there will be many puzzels and problems and interview will be fun. But it was all opposite. The interviews looked very confused themselves and asked primary questions. They asked me about why string pool. I said performance, they were not satisfied. I know all the concepts but they were actually looking for some specific answers and we're too rigid and narrow minded. It is a very unorganized place. I saw people around and didn't get a good working place like vibes. They don't even have security guard at that time atleast. I had to ring bell again and again. If you are made to sit near the entrance. You might become the pseduo security guard .. I was rejected with the reasoning that answers were not complete. I mean reminded me of University exams where we used to fill sheets to get more marks. Basically the organization has laid back kind of people and work is driven from on-site and here they just follow instructions.
