The Final interview process a full day long spending with team at on-site. Better to conduct some skype/webEx interview instead of calling candidates all the way to work location, and creating fuss with job seekers.
The posted Job will be different, and Interview will be different on hitting all the areas. The interviewers are very less experience and wanted to know only the answers that they knows.
There will be no clarity while interviewing in the final interview on which job position they are filling the job. Job seeker will get confuse on what area the job posting is, and what are the questions are asking (Specially on QA). And final interview is really like interrogating the candidate. There will not be any break in between from morning to evening, and one after the other will come and torturing the job seekers in the interview room.
And, when I was explaining about the answers, they are staring at me as if I was telling something wrong, and not aligned with what they knows (Pre-determined answers they are expecting).
Specially when I was explaining the hybrid framework when I work on automation.
Finally the manager came in, and asking which area I am interested to work on (Manual, ETL or Automation)...which is a stupid question. The job posting was on Datawarehouse testing, and all initial interviews (Telephonic) was on SQL and Datawarehouse, and in final interview they were asking which area I am interested. Appears every panel allocated 45 mins of duration, and to complete that duration, they want speak on the fly...which is pathetic.
Refrain from playing with job seekers, and straighten your interview process.
And, provide feedback to the candidates
