Interview was great. Very welcoming and detailed what all you would do at the position. Staff was very friendly and informative. The basic interview questions but also a chance to really get to know me.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IronRod Health (New York, NY)
Interview
Talked to a headhunter on the phone, then had three Teams meetings remotely with managers and engineers. No coding questions or take-home assignments, just lots of behavioral questions and some system design scenarios. Everything was positive after the last interview (I even got a walkthrough from the CIO about their strategy) but then was told they didn't want to hire my position and they'd be focusing on a backend engineer instead.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give an example of when you disagreed with other engineers and had to come to an agreement about a design.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IronRod Health in July 2021
Interview
The CTO did not join the Zoom meeting at the appointed time. Upon contacting the recruiter, an emergency meeting had come up.
I understand that emergencies happen, but if a company treats its interviewees this way I would not want to see how they treat employees.
